Pediatric Acupuncture – Shonishin

Shonisin (shoh-nee-shin)

A style of pediatric Acupuncture treatment for infants and children originating from Japan.  This method does not often utilize the insertion of needles, but instead employs tapping, scratching or vibrating the acupuncture point and channels along the body with unique, small tools.

This gentle method of treating children is simple, painless and effective.  Utilizing a young child’s natural abundance in energy, shonishin is able to guide the body to a balanced state with little intervention to achieve a state of health and wellness.
