Meet your acupuncturist, Erica Chu. She is a born and raised Texan hailing from Houston and Austin. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and Asian Studies at The University of Texas in Austin. Erica then pursued with her Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from one of the leading institutions for Chinese medicine studies, AOMA School of Integrative Medicine and immediately became nationally and state board certified. Once inducted into the incredible team at South Austin Community Acupuncture as one of their acupuncturists, she began her practice of the art of Chinese medicine. There, she was a witness to the quiet power of this ancient medicine and the ability of people to discover healing in their bodies. She believes that most things are possible with the right balance focused effort, patience, compassion with a hint of ancient Chinese wisdom. Her specialties include pain management, stress reduction/relaxation therapy, and dermatological conditions.
